The Clipper  Dance Team is a co-ed dance team open to CHS students in grades  9 -12. This team  performs a wide variety of dance styles ranging from tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop; just to name a few.   The Clipper Dance Team  performs in local and national shows such as the Variety Show at CHS and at local competitions.  The dance team is a great opportunity for students to build their confidence, improve their dance skills and collaborate with students of different dance backgrounds.

 The aim of the Dance Class is for students to experience, understand, value and enjoy dance as an art form through the study of dance performance, composition and the appreciation of dance. Students are  exposed to Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, & Hip Hop. This art class is open to all students at CHS, including those who have never danced before. Many times almost half of the students performing in the Winter and Spring Showcases have never danced or performed on stage.  In a short amount of time they learn the art of dance and are so excited to perform for you and demonstrate all that they have learned.
